Bagwell Choice Pantry
Serving over 1,000 families a month, the Bagwell Choice Pantry supplements families with food, essentials, and a sense of community. The client choice model seeks to eliminate waste and secure a sense of dignity for the families we serve.
Regional Food Distribution
Partnering with over 26 local churches, food pantries, and ministry programs, we serve as the regional food bank for Northwest Georgia. Our collective buying power extends ministry resources to serve more families in need efficiently.
Backpack Buddies
With the help of many dedicated volunteers, we pack over 2,000 Backpack Buddies a week. This program provides meals to kids over the weekends who are experiencing food insecurity. We serve Rome City and Floyd County Schools, Chattooga County Schools, and Polk County Schools.
Home Delivery
We are committed to providing essential services to our medically fragile and elderly populations residing in rural areas. This is achieved through a volunteer-based home delivery service. Our organization leverages extensive partnerships with various agencies, including adult protective services, cancer navigators of Rome, area agency on aging, and law enforcement, to determine eligibility for this program.
YMCA Mobile Produce Market
In partnership with the YMCA and the Atlanta Community Food Bank, we distribute 10 to 12,000 pounds of produce annually on at least five occasions at the YMCA Grizzard Park Soccer Fields, with specific dates and times available on our social media channels.
